About Propane

What is Propane?

Propane, also known as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), is a hydrocarbon gas that is produced as a byproduct of two main processes, natural gas processing and petroleum refining. Propane can be used for applications including residential & commercial heating, cooking, hot water heating, drying clothes, fueling vehicles, and as a clean power source for engines and generators. Its versatility makes it a valuable energy source in various industries.

Clean

Propane and renewable propane are low-carbon energy sources that produce fewer emissions than the equivalent amount of electricity generated from the U.S. grid.

Reliable

Millions of Americans rely on propane for resilient, always-on energy that is independent from the electric grid.

Affordable

Propane can reduce energy bills for both families and businesses. Plus, propane equipment generally lasts longer than electric models, making it more cost-effective.

We make propane easy.
